PA Testing

Note:- Your Responsibilities for Record Keeping

As a business owner your responsibilities for record keeping are set out below.

Where records of test and inspection are kept, the following should be recorded:
(a) A register of all equipment;
(b) A record of formal inspection and tests;
(c) A repair register;
(d) A record of all faulty equipment showing details of services or corrective actions.

NOTE Where organisations perform voluntary additional inspections and tests, records of such should be kept.

Where records are kept, they should be retained for seven years, or such period as required by the specific regulations

  REPORTING

Reporting is a particularly important aspect of the Test and Tag process. A report is evidence of you performing your "Duty of Care".

Our reports provide you with the tag number, a short description of the item tested, the date tested and the date to be retested. We will also provide details of failed items for your repair or disposal. Reports can be provided in hardcopy, pdf (normally), MS EXCEL (xls) format or Comma Separated (.csv)* for import, emailed or on CD. Let our representative know your specific requirements.

* Other formats on request.

Sample Report

Where Safe@Work Test & Tag has undertaken the work, we can provide reports, where you undertake repair, you will be responsible for the repair log.
